To the All Nighters, A Slam Poem

To the All Nighters, A Slam Poem

Here’s to you, the all-nighters,
The parsers of prose,
Viceroys of verse,
The wicked wizards of work,

You adult to the hilt because when others are resting in their beds, you, YOU are rocking the world!
You midnight masters,
You PM to AMers.
You may not always do this sort of thing.
You may not stay up the entire night, but rather until the work is done,

And when daylight hits, we! We weekend warriors in the truest sense. We few who stand (or sit) tall driving, writing, and fighting to complete our tasks. We will be victorious once more!
Red and weary eyes have nothing on us. Our minds are sharp until the task is done. So, here is to those who fight the darkness. May your efforts be blessed. As may mine…
